Guest questions

How long is a session?

In studio sessions run about 1 hour. Remote sessions run about 45 minutes. We build in a little buffer on both sides, so you never feel rushed.

Where is the studio and what should I know about arriving?

We record at 3012 Murray Street #55, Port Moody, BC. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Register at the QR code on the building wall and add your license plate number so you don't get a ticket. Free parking is on the side of the building. The building is open 9am to 5pm, and for sessions outside those hours you'll use the back entrance.

What do I need for a remote session?

A laptop or computer with Chrome or Firefox is best. We record through Riverside in your browser, so there's no app or account to set up, and you'll get your link in advance. Choose a quiet, well-lit space, wear headphones to avoid echo, and use an external microphone if you have one. Join 5 minutes early for a quick sound and camera check. What should I wear?

Solid, muted colours photograph best. Please avoid busy patterns, small stripes, logos, and all-white or all-black outfits.

Can I get hair and makeup done?

For in-studio sessions, hair and makeup can be arranged 30 minutes before you record for an extra fee. Just request it in advance.

What if I need to reschedule?

No problem. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice.

Do I get to see the episode before it goes out?

Episodes are not sent for preview. If there is anything you'd like left out, tell us before your session. Video from your episode may be used to promote the show.

What if I make a mistake while recording?

Mistakes are fine. We edit every episode for flow.

When will my episode be released?

We'll tell you the release date closer to publication and tag you when your episode is live. We'd love for you to share it, and we'll send you assets and links to make that easy.

Who makes a great guest?

HER. speaks to women, mostly aged 35 to 65, looking for hope and inspiration through life transitions. We love healing stories and practical tools for change, and all spiritual paths are welcome.
